Questions
How do I convert Myanglish to Myanmar Unicode?
Type or paste Myanglish into the box at the top of this page. The Myanmar Unicode text appears as you type; copy it with the Copy button.
How is it different from other Myanglish converters?
It reads the whole sentence to pick the right word instead of converting letter by letter: kyi becomes ကြည့် after ရုပ်ရှင် (movie) but ကြီး after အိမ် (house). English words stay as typed, chat spellings and abbreviations like kg, tl and pr are understood, and you never pick from a list.
Does it output Unicode or Zawgyi?
Myanmar Unicode, the standard encoding used by current phones, computers and websites. It does not output Zawgyi.
Is it free? Is my text stored?
It is free. Your text is converted and not stored or logged. Only a correction you choose to send with the fix form is saved, to improve the converter.
How accurate is it?
This is an early version. Most words in a message come out right, but a long message often has a word or two wrong. Tap a wrong word to pick another reading, and send the fix: corrections are how it improves.
